Russia: Baltika №4 Original is one of 50 best sorts of beer in the world

The jury of the biggest world competition International Beer Challenge (IBC) chose 50 best beer sorts of the world, including Baltika №4 Original, according to Baltika’s press release, September 10. Every year the contest IBC discovers the best beer sorts from all over the world. The nominees are shared into 12 categories and their taste and package are strictly estimated by the leading experts of brewing. The jury consists of consumers and the specialists in filed of marketing and package.

The best beer sorts in 12 categories, the winners among international sorts, and the main winner will be announced on 3 October 2007 at the official rewarding ceremony in London.

Baltika №4 is one of the oldest sorts of Baltika Breweries, which has been brewed since April 1994 in 0.5 liter bottles. The name itself emphasizes the originality of this sort, as the recipe of №4 has no analogues among the world sorts. The professionalism of the Baltika’s brewing masters provided for the wide range of consumers. By the way, this is the only brand of Baltika Breweries, which is only brewed at St. Petersburg brewery.

This beer variety has a special bread taste and bitter notes. Baltika №4 Original is a dark-coloured beer with incomparable taste.
