Belarus: Belarus posts per capita beer consumption at 46 litres

Belarus has seen beer consumption grow by 19% in 2007 to 46 litres per capita, according to an official with Belgospischeprom food industries, Agrobel reported October 30.

At the same time, he attributes the growth to beer import rather than an increase in home production.
