UK: Scottish & Newcastle unveils new management team

Scottish & Newcastle PLC said it has appointed Jeremy Blood, currently managing director of S&N Pub Enterprises, as managing director of S&N UK as the brewer unveiled a new management team across the business, Thomson Financial reported December 12.

S&N said Tim Seager, currently acting UK managing director and former marketing director, will become managing director of Brasseries Kronenbourg, replacing Yves Couette who will leave the business following a review of the French activities.

Alberto DaPonte, managing director of the business in Portugal, and Yrjo Narhinen, managing director in Finland, also both become members of the new management team.

S&N said John Nicolson continues as managing director for developing markets.

The group said Nuno Teles, currently marketing director for Portuguese operations, takes up the role of acting marketing director until a permanent appointment is made.
