Ukraine: Barley sowings reached 75.1% of the plan

Ukrainian spring crops, as of April 30, have been sown within 9.315 million ha, down 21.4 percent compared to the same period in 2007, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, AgriMarket reported May 12.

In particular, barley was sown at 3.095 million ha and representing 75.1 percent of the plan.
