India: Barley futures hit highs on demand from the domestic malt-makers
Indian barley June futures rose to hit new contract highs on demand from the domestic malt-makers and fresh buying on hopes demand would rise in the future, analysts said, according to Reuters, May 22.
At close, the most active June futures NBLM8 rose 1.79 percent to 1,305 rupees per 100 kg on the NCDEX, retreating from a contract high of 1,320 rupees.
