Ukraine: Food barley prices decrease to 194-208 USD/t

This week, Ukrainian market of feed barley registered lowering of prices caused by decreasing of purchasing prices by export-oriented companies and increasing of offers, APK-Inform communicated on September, 10.

As it was reported, many agricultural growers increased selling rates due to receive financial funds for harvesting of late grain and oilseeds, at the same time, many of them decrease prices. In several cases growers deceased prices due to shortage of storage facilities.

This week, grain prices decreased by 6-10 USD/t compared to the previous week. Feed barley prices totalled 930-1000 UAH/t (194-208 USD/t).

Many export-oriented companies decreased purchasing prices due to overloading of port elevators. Purchasing prices for feed barley total 900-950 UAH/t (188-198 USD/t).
