Barley prices improved by Rs 7.00, or 0.57 per cent, to Rs 1,245 per quintal in futures trading owing to increased buying by traders, Business Standard reported on September, 17.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange counter, barley prices for October contract went up by Rs 7.00, or 0.57 per cent, to Rs 1,245 per quintal, with an open interest of 12,660 lots.
