France: No demand for barley before the crop results are announced
The French barley market is seeing a very low activity as the industry players are waiting for the final crop results, La Depeche reported on August, 3.
The current demand for both malting and feed barley is very limited. The only requests for feed barley are coming from abroad, industry sources said.
The yields for barley are so far reported to be good. Barley prices are fluctuating following the trends established by other grains.
