USA, CO: Denver Beer Co. to increase production capacity

Colorado’s Denver Beer Co. is preparing to increase production capacity with the addition of a new, 1,700-square-foot facility, Shanken News Daily reported on September, 18.

Known as the Barrel Room, the building will allow the brewer to add four 15-barrel fermenters and one 15-barrel brite tank, which join Denver Beer’s existing fleet of six seven-barrel fermenters.

The new building—which marks Denver Beer’s second expansion project since opening in August 2011—is slated to open in early winter 2012.

Maker of the Colorado Common, Big Money Maple Nut Brown and Smoked Lager labels, among others, Denver Beer Co. currently has annual production of 3,500 barrels.
