USA, MN: Schell's Brewing launches new seasonal beer

Schell's Brewing has introduced a new six-month seasonal beer, a German-style lager, called Chimney Sweep, The Drinks Business Review reported on November, 14.

Schell's brewmaster Jace Marti said that he created the new variety based on the experience during his stay in Germany's Upper Franconia, where three beer styles - a "Rauch," or smoked lager, a Dunkel (dark) lager and a Schwartz (black) lager ­are commonly featured.

"Chimney Sweep is a combination of the three styles," said Marti.

The new beer, which is currently available in stores, will be sold up to March 2013.
