Canada, ON: Bayside Brewing opens in Southwestern Ontario

The municipality of Chatham-Kent in Southwestern Ontario is home to the province’s newest brewpub, with the recent opening of Bayside Brewing, Canadian Beer News reported on December, 20.

Located in Erieau, a small village on the shore of Lake Erie, Bayside has set up shop in an historic century-old building that has been renovated to house the brewery and restaurant.

Currently running on a 50 hectolitre system, the brewery is offering two initial brands – Long Pond Lager and Bayside Light Lager – with more to be added in early 2013. Both current brands are available on tap and in growlers at Bayside, and Long Pond Lager is also available at a number of other pubs and restaurants throughout Chatham-Kent.
