USA, CO: Avery Brewing releasing Mephistopheles’ Stout
Boulder’s Avery Brewing is set to bring back its Mephistopheles’ Stout label, as well as launch a pair of new offerings this winter season, Shanken News Daily reported on December 2.
Rolling out in 12-ounce bottles on December 13, Mephistopheles Stout—originally an installment in Avery’s “The Demons of Ale” series — is made with Magnum and Sterling hops and characterized by chocolate, fruit and espresso notes.
Also available in mid-December is The Maharaja, which is an Imperial IPA and the brewer’s latest entry in its “Dictator” series. Available in 22-ounce bombers, the new IPA will be followed in January by six-pack bottles and cases of New World Porter, billed as a dry-hopped, traditional black Porter.
Along with the new and returning entries, Avery Brewing produces around 20 year-round and seasonal brews, including its flagship India Pale Ale, White Rascal, Ellie’s Brown Ale, Out of Bounds Stout and Joe’s Premium American Pilsner labels.
