Canada, BC: Lighthouse Brewing to release Desolation Imperial Oyster Stout

Lighthouse Brewing has announced the release of a new limited edition beer that will be joining the customary Lighthouse Chocolate Porter on shelves this winter, Canadian Beer News reported on November 29.

Desolation Imperial Oyster Stout is a 9.3% stout made with a blend of 10 malts and oysters farmed by Okeover Organic Oysters in Okeover Inlet, Desolation Sound.

Desolation Imperial Oyster Stout was previewed at a couple of events earlier this month, and will be officially released early December. It will be available in a limited run in 650 ml bottles at select liquor stores in BC and the Lighthouse retail store.
