USA, MI: Lake Ann Brewing Co. opens in Traverse City on June 15

Lake Ann Brewing Co. launched into its first day in business with just two hours' notice, Traverse City Record Eagle reported on July 8.

Matt Therrien received his license to operate the brewery on June 15 at 4 p.m. The doors were open by 6.

"Talk about a stressful day," Therrien said. "It was like a construction site in the morning and we opened that night."

Therrien said the beer has garnered good response so far, and steady but manageable crowds have kept the business busy.

"It's kind of a good old hometown place," Therrien said. "We had regulars from the get go."
