USA, MI: CJ’s Brewing Company expands operation by two 15-barrel fermenters

CJ’s Brewing Company of Commerce Township has expanded its brewing operation with the addition of two 15-barrel fermenters to keep up with customer demand, The Oakland Press reported on August 24.

The new equipment will enable a nearly 40 percent increase in production.

“The extra barrels will bolster our brewing operation and allow for significantly larger brewing capacities,” CJ’s brewmaster JT Ross said. “I look forward to continuing to serve the local community with our hand-crafted, signature CJ Brewing’s beers.”

“We’ve reached capacity several times in the past few months,” said General Manager Bill Shikwana. “The new installation will create a more seamless operation for our staff and loyal CJ Brewing’s guests.”

CJ Brewing’s is at 8115 Richardson Road in Commerce Township in addition to a location in Plymouth at 14900 Beck Road.
