Canada, ON: Second Wedge Brewing already operational in Uxbridge

2015 was likely the busiest year on record for new craft breweries in Ontario, and it stayed busy right until the end, with the final opening of the year taking place just days before the calendar switched over to 2016, Canadian Beer News reported on January 4.

Founded in Uxbridge by the husband-and-wife team of Rob Garrard and Joanne Richter, Second Wedge Brewing – named after the town’s location on the second of four wedges of the Oak Ridges Moraine – opened its tasting room and retail store at 14 Victoria Street on December 28th.

The brewery currently has three brands on tap – Monday Night Piper Scottish-Style Ale, 3 Rocks IPA, and Rain Maker Porter – with 650 ml bottles and growlers available.
