USA, WI: Badger State Brewing Co. begins expansion and renovation project

A Green Bay craft brewery is planning to expand, Fox11online.com reported on February 11.

Badger State Brewing Co. says it has begun a 9,500-square-foot expansion and renovation project at its building a few blocks east of Lambeau Field.

Badger State says its expansion will include an event hall for weddings, corporate gatherings and community events. The hall will have a seating capacity for 400 people, with room for as many as 1,000 people to stand. It will also include a beer bar, prep room for catering, an outdoor patio and a viewing area for the brewery's barrel-aging room.

Other aspects of the project include an expansion of production equipment and other additions to the building.

Brewery managers say the expansion is expected to create as many as 12 new jobs.

The project is scheduled to be finished in June.
