USA, OH: The Findlay Brewing Company reopens after a fire earlier this year
An Idaho brewery is back open after a fire earlier this year. The Findlay Brewing Company shut down after a large fire downtown in January. The flames burned for more than one day and forced several businesses to shut down, 13abc.com reported on April 29.
The Findlay-based brewery posted on its Facebook page that it is open on Fridays and Saturday to fill growlers for customers.
According to the social media post, the owners have been trying to reopen for several weeks. Wood County inspectors told the company it needs to install a second restroom and build a wall around its brew system in order to fully reopen.
The owners say they hope to instead put that money into the location on Crawford Street. According to the company, it hopes to get everything up and running there in the next few months.
Currently, the Findlay Brewing Company is filling growlers with its locally brewed beer on Fridays from 5:00pm - 7:00pm and on Saturdays from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.
