USA, MI: Stormcloud Brewing Company to build new production and bottling facility in Frankfort
A long overdue expansion in the works for downtown Frankfort’s very own Stormcloud Brewing Company, 9&10 News reported on August 20.
Last week the brewery announced they'll build a new production and bottling facility.
They'll build it on property along M-115 in the Frankfort Industrial Park.
After just three years of being in downtown Frankfort and distributing to more than 30 Michigan counties, Stormcloud Brewery says they've already outgrown their facility.
They have plans of someday distributing to the entire state.
So they're going to need a lot more room to brew, and they'll get it.
The brewing company’s communications and marketing manager Keirsun Scott says, “We're essentially more than doubling our brewing capacity so we're moving to a much larger brewing system and we'll be able make a lot more beer and meet the demand and hopefully we can distribute throughout the state of Michigan.”
Stormcloud Brewing Company plans to break ground in October and start production next spring.
