USA, AL: Red Hills Brewing Company to open its doors in Homewood after more than a year of construction
Homewood's first craft brewery will open its doors this weekend after more than a year of construction, Birmingham Business Journal reported on September 8.
Red Hills Brewing Company, a project lead by owner Joe Pilleteriand brewmaster Eric Baumann, will open Saturday, September 10 off of Central Avenue near Steel City Pops. The brewery will feature several new beers upon launch, including A Pound A Brown Mild, Gangsta Rap Friday West Coast IPA, Homewood Hefeweizen and Tribute Session IPA.
In addition to beer served in the Red Hills taproom, the company will also offer takeaway beer in growlers and signature glassware.
The brewery will open at 5 p.m on September 10. After launch, the spot will be open Monday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday, from noon to 2 a.m. on Saturday and from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
