USA, WI: Vintage Brewing Co. to open a brewery in Sauk City
Vintage Brewing Co. is opening a brewery and restaurant along the riverfront in Sauk City, Channel3000.com reported on September 15.
The company reached an agreement with the village to purchase and develop a vacant riverfront parcel at 600 Water St. with construction to get underway in late October. It expects to employ 80-100 people.
“We couldn’t be happier with the location, and the positive reception from the people of Sauk Prairie really makes this feel like a homecoming,” said Vintage partner Trent Kraemer.
The plans call for a 10,000-square-foot brewery space in the sub-level, capable of producing up to 9,000 barrels of beer annually. Upper levels will have a kitchen, restaurant and bar, plus indoor and outdoor seating areas, a seasonal beer garden with sweeping riverfront views and modular banquet and events space to accommodate groups of up to 250.
The additional brewing capacity will allow Vintage to brew five times as much beer as it has able to produce at its facility on Whitney Way.
The brewery and restaurant are expected to open in the summer of 2017.
