Canada, ON: Common Good Beer Company opens its doors in Scarborough, Toronto
Ontario Beverage Network reports that a new brewery intended to be a “brewing space for contract brewers, an incubator for brewing startups, and for brewers looking for expand production” has officially opened in Scarborough, the easternmost district of Toronto.
Common Good Beer Company has been founded by Jamie Mistry, a veteran brewmaster best known for his previous stints at Amsterdam Brewing and Cool Beer.
While most production at the brewery is focused on the contract projects noted above, Mistry is also brewing a Small Batch Series under the Common Good brand name, with the first in the series – #1: Pilsner – available starting today in the newly opened Common Good retail store.
Common Good is located at 475 Ellesmere Road between Warden Avenue and Birchmount Road in Scarborough.
