Canada, BC: Iron Road Brewing opens its doors to the public in Kamloops
A new brewery and taproom in Kamloops has opened its doors to the public, Canadian Beer News reported on August 4.
Iron Road Brewing has been founded by Jared Tarswell and Richard Phillips, with brewer Aaron MacInnis overseeing production in the brewhouse.
Beers currently available on tap include Locomotive Lager (4.5% abv, 30 IBU), Red Bridge Pale Ale (5.0% abv, 41 IBU), Loop Line IPA (5.5% abv, 55 IBU), Summer Ale (5.0% abv, 40 IBU), and Farmhouse Ale (4.5% abv, 40 IBU).
Iron Road also features a 60 seat taproom and a food menu focused on Mexican snacks and meals including tacos, nachos, empanadas and quesadillas.
Iron Road Brewing is located at 980 Camosun Crescent near Thompson Rivers University.
