Canada, NB: Hammond River Brewing opens much-expanded location in Rothesay
Brewery news

Hammond River Brewing has announced that its new and much-expanded location is now open in Rothesay, New Brunswick, approximately 10 km from the original brewery in Quispamsis, Canadian Beer News reported.

Originally planned for mid-July but postponed due to construction and licensing delays, the opening finally took place on August 4th, as confirmed by Maritime Beer Report.

Situated adjacent to the Barrel’s Head Gastropub at 141 Hampton Road, the new facility features a 15 barrel system – a big step up from the 1 barrel system at the old brewery – as well as a retail store, patio, and taproom with a food menu from the Barrel’s Head.

Beers available on tap and for growler fills at opening included The Vegas SMaSH IPA (Galaxy Edition), Blood Orange Hefeweizen, Gammie California Steam Ale, Hop Flash IPA, Red Coat India Red Ale, Blueberry Ale, and Paisley Park Raspberry Berliner Weisse. Bottles of Hop Flash IPA will also be available soon at select ANBL locations.

Hammond River Brewing is open from 11:30 AM daily, closing at 9:00 PM on Sunday to Thursday, and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.
