USA, MI: Founders Brewing Company to launch Detroit brewpub on December 4
Founders Brewing Company’s hotly anticipated Detroit brewpub is set to flood the Motor City with beer beginning next week. The company announced in a release on November 28 that it will open the doors of its Detroit taproom at 3 p.m. on December 4 at 456 Charlotte St.
The Cass Corridor taproom is located inside a 14,000-square-foot building formerly occupied by the Cass Corridor Food Co-op. It’s stationed just a few blocks from The Peterboro and the Masonic Temple. Founders’ Detroit outpost is expected to feature more than a dozen taps, a kitchen, a patio, and a small brewhouse that will produce beers specific to the Detroit location.
In concert with the opening, the brewery is also doing a special Founders Brewing Co. CBS bottle release. Tickets will go on sale online for $50 each on December 2 at 11 a.m. The purchase includes two bottles of CBS, which must be picked up on particular times and dates.
This is the second location for Founders Brewing Company. The renowned brewery is based out of Grand Rapids.
Founders Brewing Company is located at 456 Charlotte St.; the brewery will open daily starting December 5 from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
