Canada, NB: O’Creek Brewing launches its first beer with more to come soon
The Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that the newest brewery in the Maritime provinces has launched its first beer, with more to come soon.
O’Creek Brewing has been founded by Patrice Daigle, who is brewing on 1-barrel system based out of his home in Dieppe, NB.
The inaugural beer from O’Creek is Route 117 NEIPA (6.5% abv), which ACBB describes as follows:
Named after the coastal highway that connects Kouchibouguac and Miramichi, this hoppy and hazy brew features loads of Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo hops throughout the brewing and fermenting process.
O’Creek made its public debut this past weekend at the Atlantic Beer Festival in Moncton, and Route 117 should be available on tap soon at select local bars and restaurants, along with future O’Creek beers including a Saison and an American Pale Ale.
