USA, TN: Jackalope Brewing Company to launch its new Wedgewood-Houston brewery and taproom on August 25
One of Nashville’s favorite breweries is ready to welcome visitors into its new Wedgewood-Houston brewery and taproom, The Tennessean reported on August 22.
Jackalope Brewing Company will debut the new facility, which is nicknamed “the Ranch,” at 429B Houston St. from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Aug. 25.
“We are so excited for all of our hard work to come to fruition,” Jackalope founder Bailey Spaulding said in a statement. “This brewery is a representation of where we are now - we’ve grown so much, not only in volume but also creatively. We’ve had a lot of fun in the past seven years, and I think the Ranch will really showcase that.”
The original Jackalope outpost at 701 8th Ave. S. will remain open and will be used to create small-batch, specialty brews. Bailey opened the flagship in 2011 and the company is now producing about seven times as much beer as its first year in operation.
Jackalope’s expansion to Wedgewood-Houston comes as no surprise for the thriving Nashville brewery. Spaulding said the team worked on development plans for almost a year, based on the need to produce more beer than is possible at the 8th Avenue South facility.
Opening a new production facility will give Jackalope the ability to increase its presence in Tennessee and also to grow in Nashville.
