USA, IL: Hairy Cow Brewing Company opens its doors in Byron

A new brewery has opened in Byron: Hairy Cow Brewing Company has a patio that overlooks the Rock River at 450 E. Blackhawk Drive, wrex.com reported on December 18.

The brewery opened its doors at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18 with four beers on tap, two guest taps and artisan pizza.

“We’re really excited that we can finally open the doors and show the community, friends, family and people from outside the area what we’ve done,” said Owner Todd McLester. “We don’t want this to just be a local spot, although that’s our primary focus. We want it to be a destination.”

Hairy Cow is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
