USA, MA: Redemption Rock Brewing Co. to host grand opening party on January 26
Worcester will have a fifth brewery come this weekend when Redemption Rock Brewing Co. opens its doors, MassLive.com reported on January 21.
The brewery at 333 Shrewsbury St. is hosting a grand opening party on Saturday, January 26 from noon to 10 p.m., featuring live music, local food and coffee, and, of course, beer.
Redemption Rock is a dream six years in the making for CEO Dani Babineau, her life and business partner, Greg Carlson, his twin brother, Dan Carlson, and their friend, Kevin Kirkness.
The grand opening will feature live music by Joy Rachelle from noon to 3 p.m., popovers from Worcester's Asylum Popatorium and coffee from Acoustic Java and Atomic Coffee Roasters.
The name Redemption Rock is inspired by the historic site in Princeton, where Babineau grew up.
Inside the 6,000-square-foot brewery is 3,000 square feet of taproom space and a bar with 12 draft lines.
Redemption Rock joins existing Worcester breweries: Wormtown Brewery, 3cross Fermentation Cooperative, Flying Dreams Brewing Co. and Greater Good Imperial Brewing Co.
