USA, TX: True Anomaly Brewing Company debuts in Houston
True Anomaly Brewing Company has debuted at 2012 Dallas St. in EaDo, Houston, Hoodline reported on March 1.
This brewery was founded by former NASA co-workers who wanted to open a brewery focused on sour beer, according to Eater Houston. It is slated to officially open at the end of April, but for now the spot offers four beers on tap. Food trucks are often on site, and the outdoor patio is dog-friendly.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, True Anomaly Brewing Company seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Tim S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Feb. 24, wrote, "Unique, dog-friendly offering in EaDo, a place you need to visit as a local or visitor to Houston. Belgium Dubbel is a good start to your evening, along with a pick up of food from nearby vendors."
And Christina H. wrote, "Great beer and a nice, chill atmosphere. The owners are awesome and will tell you all about the current beers they have on tap. It's dog friendly and has indoor and outdoor space. Great location to stop in for a beer before or after a Dynamo, Rockets or Astros game."
True Anomaly Brewing Company is open from 4–10 p.m. on Wednesday-Friday, noon–10 p.m. on Saturday, and noon–6 p.m. on Sunday.
