USA, NJ: Ghost Hawk Brewing to open its doors on April 20
Ghost Hawk Brewing in Clifton will have its grand opening at 1 p.m. on April 20, NorthJersey.com reported on April 2.
Brewmaster Chris Sheehan began brewing Ghost Hawk’s first batch in early March, and was hoping to have a selection of beers ready by early May. Turns out, craft beer lovers will get to experience the new brewery a bit sooner.
The beers available on opening day will include:
Apex Predator: New England style IPA
Daedalion: American Wheat
Ghost Hawk Lager: Continental Europena style lager
Cherry Daedalion: American wheat with tart cherry
Ravendark: Foreign style stout
Trouble IPA: Double dry-hopped imperial IPA
Owners Tom Rachelski and Steve Bauer are both craft beer enthusiasts who grew up in Clifton. Ghost Hawk will be Passaic County’s first microbrewery.
The 3,500-square-foot brewery with a walk-up bar and seating area, is located next door to Silk City Distillers and across the street from Rutt’s Hut. There's no parking on site, so Rachelski and Bauer suggest getting an Uber or Lyft to the brewery on opening day.
In the future, Ghost Hawk will host events with entertainment by local artists.
Ghost Hawk is located at 321 River Road, Clifton.
