Canada, ON: Woodhouse Brewing opens new brewpub in Toronto’s west end
One of Ontario’s best known contract brewers has announced the opening of a brewpub location in Toronto’s west end, the Canadian Beer News reported on November 21.
Woodhouse Brewing was launched in 2014 by beer industry veteran Graham Woodhouse, and has established a portfolio of core brands that are brewed at several partner facilities for retail and licensee sales.
For its bricks-and-mortar location, Woodhouse has moved into the spot at 303 Lansdowne Avenue that was home to Lot 30 Brewers until its closure earlier this year.
Officially open since November 18 following a soft opening late last week, Woodhouse currently has seven beers on tap – Light (4% abv), Lager (5% abv), APA (4.9% abv), IPA (6% abv), ESB (4.9% abv), Kolsch (5.2% abv), and Stout (4.7% abv) – along with a guest tap from Duxbury Cider and a short wine list.
The food menu developed by chef and restaurateur Jesse Fader features bar snacks and comfort food favourites including lemon pepper wings, roast chicken, t-bone steak, ravioli, and more.
Woodhouse Brewing is open from 5:00 PM daily.
