Philosophy and beer, it's the same thing: when consumed, they change all perceptions we have of the world.

USA, GA: Rightside Brewing slated to launch in Atlanta this fall
Brewery news

A brewing company focusing on non-alcoholic options is slated to launch in metro Atlanta this fall, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported on July 16.

Rightside Brewing is partnering with Big Kettle Brewing, a contract brewer in Lawrenceville, to brew and package a Citrus Wheat and an IPA for the Southeast market starting this October. Billed as the first non-alcoholic beer brewed in Georgia, the products will be available in bars, restaurants and retailers throughout the Southeast, with no current plans to open a dedicated brewery or taproom.

The company is the brainchild of Emree Woods, who has experience in the beverage and startup industries. She came up with the idea for Rightside when she was pregnant and realized there were limited options for adults who choose not to drink alcohol. She wanted to create a beer that was “a quality product that was similar to its alcoholic counterpart, but also removed the stigma of traditional non-alcoholic beers,” according to a press release.

“Rightside Brewing’s purpose is to create an experience for those that want a choice other than alcohol. In an industry traditionally seen as stuffy, we see the tide is changing to serve a growing demand for alcohol alternatives,” said Woods in a prepared statement. “The South has an incredible craft beer scene. I’m excited to be part of that while adding a non-alcoholic beer, brewed right here in the area.”
