Canada, BC: North Basin Brewing launches in Okanagan Valley community
A new brewery and taproom that aims to be a “tribute to Osoyoos and the people who fill it with fun” has opened its doors in the small Okanagan Valley community, the Canadian Beer News reported on November 16.
North Basin Brewing has been founded by local residents Wes and Catherine Greve, with Kody Rosentreter relocating from Alberta earlier this year to oversee the brewing program.
While the opening beer line-up hasn’t been announced, an April article in the South Okanagan Times-Chronicle quoted Wes Greve as saying that he expected the brewery to offer “your traditional IPA, pale ale, pilsner, kolsch,” while Rosentreter added that he “likes to brew beer that’s approachable and that people like to drink.”
North Basin Brewing is located at Unit 226, 15 Park Place in Osoyoos, and is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.
