Canada, SK: Six Poets Brewing announces release of its first beer

A new brewery in small town of Southey, Saskatchewan has announced the release of its first beer, the Canadian Beer News reported on December 1.

Six Poets Brewing has been founded by food and drink industry veterans Judd Stachoski and Ryan Nagel, and is a sibling to their Paperback Beverage Co., a company that makes sodas, drink mixes, sauces and other items.

The debut Six Poets release is Tiki Pale Ale (6% abv), the first in a series of cocktail-inspired beers, featuring “notes of pineapple, ginger, almond, and citrus.”

Six Poets Tiki Pale Ale is on tap now at The Eagles Club in Regina, and will soon be available at bars and retailers throughout Saskatchewan.
