Canada, BC: Wild North Brewing now open in Creston
A new brewery that aims to “bring an authentic craft beer culture to our hometown” is now open in the community of Creston in British Columbia’s Kootenay region, the Canadian Beer News reported on May 28.
Wild North Brewing has been founded by a group of long-time friends including Craig and Lisa Wood, Tyler Mailhot, Jon Haberstock, Mark Hug, and Aaron Groenhuysen, with brewmaster Casey Staple overseeing the brewhouse.
Open since May 20th, Wild North is offering a selection of beers including Mt Loki Lager (4.5% abv), Lockhart West Coast IPA (6.3% abv), Pilot Bay Hazy IPA (6.5% abv), Kuskanook Dry-Hopped Sour (5.2% abv), Kootenay River Raspberry Sour (5.3% abv), and Darkwoods Porter (4.7% abv) by the glass, in tasting flights, and for growler fills.
Wild North Brewing is located at 125 16th Avenue North in Creston, and is open 7 days a week.
