USA, TX: Second Rodeo Brewing announces opening date
Mule Alley in Fort Worth is welcoming yet another tenant among its mix of places to eat, drink, and hang, fwtx.com reported on September 7.
The highly anticipated brewery and music venue, Second Rodeo Brewing, has announced its opening date — Sept. 16. Located at 122 E. Exchange Ave., the 14,000-square-foot venue will feature indoor and outdoor space to enjoy live country music and a rotation of beers brewed in-house, with Brew Boss Dennis Wehrmann at the helm.
Along with Second Rodeo's beer selection, Texas local brews and cocktails like the Bottled Italian Cosmo, Atomic Cool-Aid, and Paloma Ranch Water are on the menu. Loaded cheesesteaks and chicken wings make up the food offerings which, according to Second Rodeo, are "unapologetically served with nothing organic.”
The location — which Second Rodeo Brewing dubs as a "bar garden" — includes an enclosed patio with a retractable roof, entertainment stage, dance floor, outdoor games, giant swing, back patio along the creek, and a double-sided fireplace. A Folsom prison-inspired private event space is also available for booking.
Second Rodeo Brewing is run by Brain Storm Shelter, the same group behind the Truck Yard beer garden and Twisted Root Burger Co.
“The beer is cold, food is great, live music at all hours, and tons of patio space — it’s everything that creates a perfect day in Texas,” owner Jason Boso said in a statement. “We’re pumped to have a spot at the Stockyards and share a place for families and folks of all ages to enjoy the roots of this historic area. We’re celebrating Texas — ‘the way Hank [Williams] would’ve done it.’”
