USA, SC: Five Forks Brewing closing for good on January 7

Five Forks Brewing will be closing for good Friday, Jan. 7 at 9 p.m., the Upstate Business Journal reported.

The brewery, located at 2613 Woodruff Rd. behind Sidewall Pizza and Soul Yoga, made the announcement over social media.

“We would like to thank the community for your support this year however as of today we have closed the doors to Five Forks Brewing,” the brewery announced. “We will open for one last hurrah a $5 pint day this Friday 2 to 9pm — stop on in and say goodbye — it was a short run but a fun one. Thank you once again for letting us be a part of your community!”

The brewery was especially popular among local residents for its weekly trivia night. It opened in fall 2020, touting an outdoor space that stretched 225 feet long, enough “for you and your friends, family and dogs to enjoy and spread out,” according to an Instagram post the brewery made just before its opening.

Spencer Hines Properties, which handled sales for the Five Forks development, has not announced any plans for a replacement tenant for the location.
