USA, TN: Cool Springs Brewery closes down for good
Cool Springs Brewery, a brew pub and restaurant at 600 Frazier Drive, Ste. 135, Franklin, closed on Jan. 11, according to a Jan. 11 announcement on social media.
“It is with a very heavy heart that we let you know tonight is our last night,” the Facebook announcement said. “We have had an amazing run for the last 12 years. We love and cherish all of our patrons, and we wish everyone a full and happy life. Y'all were the best, and we will never forget that. Live well and love much.”
The restaurant and pub featured the microbrewery's own craft beers, and a food menu included burgers, sandwiches and pizzas as well as various entrees such as fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, and bangers and mash.
In late April 2020, the business shut down temporarily, citing an as-of-then unreceived share of financial support from the U.S. Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, and not enough takeout business to sustain their staff's wages.
Attempts on Jan. 12 to reach owners Chris and Jane Hartland, who opened the brewery in 2008, were unsuccessful.
