Canada, ON: EARI Beverage Group acquiring Railway City Brewing

Diversified beverage and media company EARI Beverage Group has announced that it has signed a letter of intent to purchase Railway City Brewing of St. Thomas, Ontario, the Canadian Beer News reported on February 1.

This is the second Ontario craft brewery acquisition for EARI in as many months, following its January takeover of Bell City Brewing in Brantford.

“This strategic acquisition will enable the company to take advantage of synergies between Bell City Brewing Company and Railway City Brewing Company,” said EARI Group CEO Bernard Rubin in a statement. “These two acquisitions will accelerate our growth into the robust market of craft brewing. The EARI Beverage Group is now well on track with the development of a diversified, growing, and profitable beverage portfolio.”

Financial terms and other details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
