USA, PA: Stickman Brews announces brewery closure
In an official announcement, Stickman Brews of Royersford announced their brewery closure. On Saturday, September 30th the Montgomery County brewery (that regularly boasted themselves “the best in SEPA”) posted on social media that they “are officially closed for good”, Breweries in PA reported.
The closure comes two months after the brewery significantly scaled back business. For those not familiar in late July Stickman abruptly shut down for roughly ten days. Prior to the shut down the eight year old Royersford brewery featured a full kitchen, with a wide variety of menu options, in addition to their line of draft beer. Coming out of the shut down the brewery announced the re-opening that included the elimination of the kitchen and cutting back hours. With no explanation given.
For the next two months Stickman would go on to be a scaled down operation open roughly 12 hours a week with almost no staff as the brewery would decide weekly when they would be open.
And now it would appear that the business has made the official decision to close completely. Many comments online have asked if their beer would continue to be distributed with no response from the brewery.
