USA, TX: Union Bear opening a new production facility in Denton
Union Bear, a 33 Restaurant Group brewery based in Granite Park, is opening a new production brewing facility in Denton on Feb. 1.
The new location will serve as a production brewing and packaging hub.
“When we set out to become Plano’s first independent brewpub, we had no idea how far this would take us,” CEO/Owner Preston Lancaster said. “We’re thrilled to announce the opening of Union Bear Brewing Company’s very first production brewery, alongside a partnership with Andrews Distributing. We’re excited to share our passion for brewing with beer lovers all over the DFW area.”
The brewpub is located in an 18,000 square food facility that includes a restaurant, taproom, patio space, Union Bear craft beer and a menu created by the 33 Restaurant Group culinary team.
“The Union Bear Brewpub was founded with a vision as a community gathering place. We’ve had the opportunity to welcome guests from all walks of life and to get to know our regulars,” Tanner Fleming, Union Bear’s director of operations, said. “Many of them have become like a second family to us, sharing the ups and downs of life. We strive to build and nurture these connections in every community we are a part of and look forward to being immersed in the Denton community. This is our guiding principle, our ‘why’ that influences all the decisions we make as a business.”
Union Bear’s Denton location’s production will begin on Feb. 1, with the brewpub to open in late spring. Both production and the brewpub are located at 221 S. Bell Ave. in Denton. The Plano brewery is located at 5880 State Hwy 121.
