USA: This month's Observer award for job-title inflation goes to Molson Coors, the newly-merged North American brewer, according to Financial Times. The company announced late last week that it was parting company with two chief financial officers, two chief people officers, a chief strategy officer, a chief legal officer, a chief accounting officer and a chief revenue officer.
Still in place are five chief executive officers, a global chief corporate affairs officer, a global chief synergies officer and a global chief technical officer, among others. Clearly a case of too many chiefs and not enough Indians.
