USA, RI: LineSider Brewing Company to cease operations on July 28
A popular East Greenwich brewery will soon close its doors, wpri.com reported.
LineSider Brewing Company owner Jeremy Ruff announced on July 23 night that the brewery will cease operations on July 28.
“This decision was not made lightly, but after careful thought and a desire to dedicate more of my time to my family, it was clear that this was the right decision for me,” Ruff explained.
Ruff said he intends to sell the brewery, but didn’t elaborate on whether anyone has taken him up on the offer.
Though he couldn’t say for sure what the future holds, Ruff said he is looking forward to it. He encouraged everyone to visit the taproom one last time “to raise a glass to this incredible journey.”
Ruff also thanked his loyal patrons and dedicated staff for their enthusiasm and support over the years.
“Although this chapter is coming to a close, the memories and experiences we have gained will always hold a special place in our hearts,” Ruff said. “LineSider Brewing Company has been more than a business; it has been a community—a place where friends, families, and colleagues can meet and enjoy a variety of great craft beer.”
LineSider Brewing Company first opened on South County Trail back in 2018.
