USA, NM: Jemez Mountain Brewhouse now brewing its beer on-site
Jemez Mountain Brewhouse is pleased to announce they are now brewing beer on-site at their brewhouse located at 17691 NM-4, Jemez Springs, New Mexico. The brewery is open from noon until 8:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Mondays, Los Alamos Reporter said on October 2.
Founded in 2022 by David Martinez, Scott Johnson, Eben Bold, and Jef Bold, Jemez Mountain Brewhouse is the culmination of the team’s personal dreams to produce quality, craft beer and share it with the world.
“We’re all passionate about the Jemez Mountains and one day over a few beers we hatched an idea,” says Jef Bold, “and Jemez Mountain Brewhouse was born.”
The company’s space in the historic Jemez Springs firehouse offers a nice place to stop, relax, and enjoy a cold brew and delicious pizza before or after your favorite Jemez activity. They offer 17 oz. and 10 oz. pours along with 32 oz. crowler cans for beer to go.
The brewery’s first beer, called Midnight Moonlight, is an American style Pale Ale. It was brewed with Pale Malt grains and a combination of Citra and Nugget hops. This end of the summer pale ale is easy drinking at 5.3% ABV with an IBU rating of 40. The Citra hops bring a nice citrusy/grapefruit finish that will encourage the drinker to say “una mas”.
