USA, ID: Loose Screw Beer opening its second Meridian location
A local microbrewery is opening its second Meridian location, boisedev.com reported on November 22.
Patrons can now enjoy a pint at Loose Screw Beer in downtown Meridian, at the corner of Main St. and Carlton Ave.
The building used to be Chapel of the Chimes funeral home, but has been remodeled to include the brewery’s entire production facility, different spaces with a view of the production facility, and an events center atop the brewery with “a spacious balcony, perfect for private parties and special occasions.”
“This isn’t your typical brewery,” said Mike Garcia, co-owner of Loose Screw Beer Co in a news release. “We’ve built something truly special for downtown Meridian, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing real estate partners — Joe Borton, Treg Bernt, and Robert Shappe. Their support helped bring this vision to life.”
The release adds that the second location will continue to serve “crazy good beer” with their head brewers continuing their creative and innovative approach to beer.
The brewery opens at noon every day, and stays open until 9 p.m. Monday and Sunday, 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Loose Screw’s other Meridian taproom is at 1511 W. McMillan Rd. Both locations are owned by local couple Mike and Pam Garcia.
