USA, NY: Kills Boro Brewing Co. opens its doors in Livingston after five years in construction
Brewery news

After five years of construction, Kills Boro Brewing Co. has officially opened its doors at 814 Richmond Terr. in Livingston, transforming a former janitorial supply warehouse into a modern taproom and brewery. The opening marks a major milestone for Staten Island’s North Shore, which continues to emerge as a destination for craft beer enthusiasts.

The taproom opened to the public on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, with initial hours from noon to 10 p.m. daily, closed on Tuesdays.

The new facility is the result of a five-year journey that began when Kills Boro purchased the building in 2019. Designed to preserve its industrial character, the space now features a sleek, modern interior with soundproof glass walls that offer guests a view of the brewing process and stainless steel bright tanks. A glass-enclosed room is also available for private events.

“This new space is a huge step forward,” said co-owner Sean Torres, who shares ownership with Lima and Michael Caridi. “We simply outgrew our original location inside Craft House in Tompkinsville.”

During its soft opening phase, Kills Boro beers are available at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Holiday Beverage in Eltingville, as well as at Craft House. Popular styles like Island Vibes Hazy IPA and Killsner Pilsner can also be found at local supermarkets, delis, and at Staten Island University Community Ballpark during FerryHawks home games.
