UK: Barley stocks estimated at 24,000 t

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) released in its Agricultural Co-operative and Ports Cereal Stocks Survey indicates UK barley stocks totalled 30,000 t, the same total as a year earlier, the Home-Grown Cereals Authority published in its Market Report of September 11. Barley stocks held at Ports at end-June in the UK are estimated at 24,000 t (6,000 t in 2005).
