E-Malt.com News article: USA, PA: RiverTide Brewing to host grand opening in Morrisville on February 20
Brewery news

Bucks County’s newest brewery is set to open this weekend, PhillyBurbs reported on February 20.

After several months of preparation, RiverTide Brewing on East Bridge Street in downtown Morrisville, will be hosting its grand opening on Friday, Feb. 20.

“It’s an expression of all our personalities, and everything we’ve done with our lives leading up to this point culminates into the food, the beer and the vibe,” said Rob Staples, who with his childhood friends, Frank Brill and Ken Terry, had a shared goal of creating an inviting place where friends and families can enjoy good food and drinks together.

Staples said the three of them with help from their friends, family and local brewing community, worked over the past several months to redesign the space, brew their first round of beer releases and perfect their recipes.

“We’ve relied a lot on our friends and the community’s support, and all that positivity has been really refreshing along the way. We’re just relieved it’s finally happening and excited for them all to see the hard work come together,” he said.

Staples said the entire space was redone in an effort to give it an unpretentious and welcoming feel, using colors that reminded them of mornings on the river with its mix of blue, orange, brown and light green.

Further paying homage to the riverfront community, a large wall mural custom painted by local artist Annie Kruzinski, presents a bold reimagining of the Lower Trenton Bridge complete with its iconic slogan, "Trenton Makes, The World Takes."

Starting Friday, Feb. 20, RiverTide will be open five days a week with the following hours:

Wednesday: 4–11 p.m.
Thursday: 4–11 p.m.
Friday: 3 p.m. – midnight
Saturday: noon – midnight
Sunday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Brewing in-house with Brill at the helm, RiverTide will feature a rotation of New England and West Coast IPAs, ambers, pale ales, fruity ales, shandies, lagers, saisons and stouts.

For the grand opening, RiverTide is kicking things off with its flagship beer, Black Tide, a bright and citrusy IPA that looks like a stout; alongside First Cask, a double dry-hopped pale ale; and a yet-to-be-named Belgian blonde ale. They have also collaborated with local breweries to have three more beers on tap from Naked Brewing Company, Warwick Farm Brewing and Broad Street Brewing.
