E-Malt.com News article: Ukraine: Barley stocks down 25.5% as of March 1

According Ukraine’s State Statistics Committee, cereal and pulse stocks in Ukraine totaled 19.03 mln tonnes as of March 1, 2018, i.e. 0.9% less than on the same date last year (19.21 mln tonnes), reports UkrAgroConsult.

At the same time, wheat stocks were up 3.4% year-on-year at 6.25 mln tonnes against 6.05 mln tonnes recorded as of March 1, 2017. Barley stocks were down 25.5% at some 1.18 mln tonnes (1.59 mln tonnes in March 2017).

Corn inventories lowered too. They totaled 10.56 mln tonnes as of the reporting date, i.e. 0.5% less than last year (10.61 mln tonnes).
